Pattern Profile offers a reflective reference point. Current Pattern brings attention to today’s context. Neither describes every part of you.
Pattern Profile gives you a framework for considering preferences and recurring tendencies. It can be useful when a description helps you recognize a real example from your life.
A profile is still a summary. It cannot represent every relationship, decision, or change you will go through.
Current Pattern focuses on how things feel now. Your energy, plans, recent nights, responsibilities, and relationships may be part of the context you bring to that check-in.
A current reading can change. It is a snapshot to compare with your experience, not a verdict about why you are acting or feeling a certain way.
Use the two views to ask different questions: what tends to feel familiar, and what feels different today? Then look for examples in your journal or daily notes.
When a label fits, keep the detail that made it useful. When it misses, your experience gives you reason to revise the picture.
